I've only had 1 but I would recommend if someone is available to help out, let them. My grandma stayed with us the first few days. I don't know what I would have done without her. Good luck!

I just don't want to scare you, or take away from your own story.  I don't think anyone would want to hear what I went through........ (although they do say my situations were very rare).

Everyone's right though, you'll be just fine!  Especially if the first two went well!  And congratulations!

thanks every one, i dont no why i am freaking out so much maybe its with everything thats going on latley ? my first c-section was an emergancy section at 32 weeks because my water broke and my daughter was breech but the recovery was great, i think i was more conserned about her in the NICU then me in pain. my second was ok had alittle more pain but it was when i was 35 weeks and again i didnt have much time to think about me being in pain being he was in the NICU.  its just funny how i am freaking out over this when i souldnt be. i just really needed somekind words and thought  i guess.  : )

My boss wife had 3 of them and it seems like it was so much easier the 3rd time she was up and walking straight no complaints the day after she had them.

I had 2 and the 2nd wasn't any worse.

Look at it this way, you'll always be as tight as a teenager if you know what I mean.

Number 1 was the hardest.  I had been on bedrest for pre-eclempsia, then I was unduced.  Labored for 18 hours to end up with a CS.  It was a total dissapoinment on many levels.

Baby #2 CS was a piece of cake.  Even the fact that I had a 23 month old at home that needed my attention.  Family only helped the first week, then I was on my own.

Baby #3 CS was okay physically but emotionally was tough.  My husband had lost his job and 9 days after my CS we moved 1235 miles from Bozeman, MT to Lawrence, KS to my husband could start his new job.  Not to mention I had DS and DD1 to take care of.

Hi, you are not alone, I have 3 c-sections and honestly to me the first one was scary, the second one was great but the third one brought  me some issues that I never thought about. Any way the best thing for you to do is take good care of your self now and think only about the baby when you are in surgery room. @ the Hospital.  God bless, goo luck.

My second was much easier than my first. I had quite a few complications that caused my recovery to take longer with my second.

I thought my 1st and 3rd c-sections were super easy.  The second c's recovery was horrible, but that was because I was trying to keep everything normal for my first born instead of resting.  The third one was super easy because I rested for 3 days, did nothing but hold the baby, and I was at a concert by the end of the week.
